The Kindest Cut theory was created by Carol Vernallis came pup with the idea of the kindest cut to show what elements a good music has / what makes it a successful music video. Show specifically looked at camera shots and editing techniques ( jump cuts and not always continuity editing like you are filming a TV series or a film.)
If I apply the techniques to my music video it will make it look very professional since artist such as One Dierction , Taylor Swift and Rihanna use these techniques in their music videos.
I did a textual analysis of Taylors Swifts music video to show that big artist use the techniques and styles which are mentioned in Carol Vernallis Kindest Cut theory.
